Assisting lawyers in the areas of commercial law, specifically Corporate Services which includes:
- Incorporation of companies, foreign enterprises, associations and business names, restoration of companies to the companies’ register, voluntary de-registration of companies, amalgamation of companies, share transfers and company restructures.
- Monitoring deadlines for compliance obligations.
- Preparing board and committee meeting materials, maintaining minute books and corporate records, drafting board resolutions.
- Registering and terminating Security Interest Notices on the Personal Property Securities Registry (PPSR)
- Registering and renewing Trademarks and assisting with trademark filings with the Intellectual Properties Office (IPO).
- Registering Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) with the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) for companies and individuals.
- Monitoring changes to government guidelines or regulations and submitted reports on pertinent changes.
- Conducting National Court Registry and Supreme Court Registry searches.
- Due diligence reviews.
